The film provides an in-depth look at the opportunities and challenges encountered by our interdisciplinary and cross-continental team in bringing the exhibition to life. The four curators—Josephine Ebiuwa Abbe, associate professor in the Department of Theatre Arts at the University of Benin City; Swiss-Nigerian architect Solange Mbanefo; and Michaela Oberhofer, curator of African art, and Esther Tisa Francini, head of archives and provenance research at the Museum Rietberg—are featured discussing the various approaches and perspectives that shaped the conception and realization of the exhibition.
