Haji Noor Deen is one of the most famous Sini calligraphers of our time. Sini calligraphy has existed since the 14th century. It is the written art of the Muslim minority in China and combines elements of the Arabic and Chinese writing traditions. The Museum for Islamic Art in Berlin’s Pergamon Museum honored Haji Noor Deen’s work with a solo exhibition in the summer of 2023.
