Huda Takriti presents a compelling work at Brunnenpassage as part of the exhibition „Genossin Sonne,“ focusing on the critical role of women who resist oppressive regimes in their fight for freedom, both for themselves and society. Building upon her earlier work, „Clarity is the Closest Wound to the Sun“ (2023), Takriti draws inspiration from the writings of Zohra Drif, a prominent freedom fighter of the National Liberation Front of Algeria. By placing the poster in public space, Takriti invites passersby to reflect on our connection to marginalized historical narratives and to consider how we can collectively engage with these stories from today’s perspective.
